Owner/CEO
Rachelle opened Trust In Us in July of 2019 after noticing the immense need for in-home care for adults in the community. Her primary motivation for opening the agency was when her sister Marie and then years after brother Steve became ill, she was able to witness the incredible support that they each received as well as her family from his in-home caregivers. Most recently, her father and lifelong mentor, was diagnosed with Dementia. Rachelle and her family know first-hand that life is extremely challenging when you have a loved one in need of care. Rachelle is proud to be able to offer these services and support to help families in need in her community and surrounding areas in Maine.
Administrative Assistant
Casey has been the Administrative Assistant for Trust In Us since March of 2023. Prior to joining TIU, Casey had many years of experience in the mental health and residential field working as a (BHP) Behavioral Health Professional. She has not only brought her experience and knowledge, but also her outgoing and friendly personality, which is the perfect addition to the TIU office team. When Casey is not multitasking and keeping things in order at TIU, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Chris and 3 children, Xavier, Zander and Nova, going on various outdoor adventures or attending sporting events.
Administrator/Agency Manager
Rebecca was employed by MSAD54 for 8 years before deciding to take the leap and join Trust In Us in 2021. Although it was something completely out of her element, already being friends with Rachelle and having the knowledge of her running a successful business for 13+ years, Rebecca decided it was a great opportunity. Everyday provides new experiences and challenges, but she welcomes them and considers Rachelle a great role model and mentor.
When Rebecca isn’t overseeing the day-to-day operations of TIU, she enjoys traveling, hosting gatherings and spending time with her family and friends, especially her 2 children, Danica and Jaimeson.
Personal care should center on empathy, respect, and individualized attention. Prioritizing these values ensures that in home care is both compassionate and effective, addressing the unique needs and preferences of each person. By fostering a supportive and collaborative environment, employees can deliver personalized home care with integrity and dedication, ultimately enhancing the quality of life for those they serve.
